We ask that family members, employees and friends remember to include Hickory Creek in their prayers and in their annual giving plans.
We are a small non-profit charitable foundation and we regularly charge our private pay residents less than they would pay at a for-profit nursing home. Government reimbursement programs, especially Medicaid, often do not reimburse us adequately for the services we render. And the cost of health care continues to increase at a rate well in excess of other costs. Charitable donations can bridge the gap between what the government believes covers "need" and what we hope to deliver in the form of compassionate care for the benefit of all our residents.
We seek donations for the benefit of all our residents, especially those most in need. Please tell us if you wish your donation to be spent at a particular nursing home, but be aware that we cannot accept charitable donations for the benefit of one particular person. We can accept donations of cash, checks, electronic funds transfer (EFT) or credit card. We can also accept stocks or securities.
We hope that you will remember to include Hickory Creek in your giving plans each year. Unlike many or even most charities, Hickory Creek pledges that ALL of the funds donated by you and your families will be used in direct service of our residents. 100% of each donation will be used directly in our nursing homes and 0% will be spent on administrative costs; the cost of raising funds; or any other expense.

Code of Stewardship
We pledge to you that 100% of your donations are used to help our residents or improve their quality of life. We do not use hired solicitors. We do not use any part of the donation for administration purposes although we must pay a 2.75% (3.5% for American Express) credit card processing fee charged by the credit card companies and a minimal processing fee charged by the secure link operator. For electronic funds transfers, we pay a processing fee of approximately 25-75 cents per transfer.
