Drug Testing, Criminal Background and Other Checks
As our population consists of elderly residents, many of them quite frail, Hickory Creek Healthcare Foundation subscribes to the mantra of “do no harm.” To that end, we always conduct a criminal background check on potential employees and, as a condition of employment, all new hires take a drug test where the results must be negative. We also give a Mantoux (tuberculin) test to all new hires and, where appropriate, a chest x-ray. In addition, references are checked.

The following are the types of positions that exist in each nursing home. Please contact the home directly to find out if a position in which you are interested is currently open and to obtain an application form. Once you have completed the application form and submitted it, you will be contacted by the home if they wish to interview you. We typically interview from 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday:
